Over the course of 2 years, we built a world-class mountain bike trail in the remote mountains North of Whistler, BC. Through a multi-part series we documented the build and characted behind the contruction of the project. For the launch of the trail itself, we teamed up with the legendary North Shore mountain bike company, Rocky Mountain Bikes and their athletes.

The “Making of” was filmed over the course of two years where we spent nights camped up in the high alpine documenting the process of the build. The launch videos were filmed on a moody autumn day using helicopter support for aerial filming and crew moves.

Blackcomb Helicopters “Powerline Training”
Pemberton, BC @ 50.3220° N, 122.8050° W

In January 2024, we set up in the -25C weather to document a state-of-the-art facility developed by Blackcomb Helciopters in Pemberton BC. This facility is intended to train professionals in the powerline industry to operate more safely and cohesively with helicopters.

Using three helicopters, and a crew of 12, we were able to showcase these techniques and the incredible skill required by both the pilots and the linemen to faciliate this work.

Aerial coordination and setting up shots with tough lighting and harsh conditions made this shoot incredibly exciting and fast—paced.
